1. What this site is

Dopamine Shop (dopamine-shop.com) is a satirical entertainment website — a playable parody of online shopping. Nothing on this site is a real product listing, offer, or invitation to purchase. No goods or services are sold, offered, or delivered. Prices, delivery estimates, reviews, deal countdowns, and "mystery boxes" are fictional and exist for entertainment. No payment is ever requested or collected. Do not expect a dinosaur.

2. Acceptance

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site (we'll miss you).

3. No real transactions

The "checkout" is a simulation ending in a $0.00 receipt. Dopamine Shop is not a retailer, marketplace, or payment processor and is not liable for any imaginary purchase, imaginary shipping delay, or imaginary buyer's remorse. Product names and images are generic or invented and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or intended to identify any real brand or retailer.

4. Accounts and the leaderboard

Leaderboard accounts are optional and require only a username and password. You're responsible for the username you choose; usernames that are offensive, impersonate others, or contain personal information may be removed. Your username and fake "almost-spent" totals are displayed publicly on the leaderboard. We may remove accounts or scores that abuse the system.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at abusive rates, exploit the leaderboard with automation, or use the site for anything unlawful. That would be a strange thing to do to a fake store, but here we are.

6. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, and original content belong to Fenwick Holdings LLC. You're welcome to share screenshots and receipts — that's half the fun — with attribution appreciated.

7. Content and articles

Blog articles about spending psychology are provided for general information and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, or financial advice. If shopping or spending feels out of your control, consider speaking with a qualified professional.

8. Advertising

The site is free and supported by advertising, including ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Ads are labeled as such. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies and your choices.

Given that the site sells nothing and charges nothing, we trust this will not come up often.
